Default 4low slipping. Help!

Hey guys. Just joined. I need to figure out what's going on with my 4 low. The 2 high in my truck is awesome the 4 high seems to have no problems but when its in 4 low it slips when I accelerate from a complete stop and kicks in at about 2000 rpms and doesn't slip back out.
Its a 1997 Chevy blazer 2 door 4x4 LS
Any info helps. Thanks.

Automatic or manual transmission? What do you mean "it slips" from a dead stop and kicks in ~2K? Do you mean the engine rpm increases but vehicle speed does not?

Its an auto and it will move like normal when u hit the throttle until it gets to like 10 miles per hour and feels like it slips out of gear. So its just in a idle no power stage then when u rev it to about 2k rpms it slams back into gear. Is that better?
