try a tccm relearn. Pull the tccm fuse for 15 minutes and put it back in.

I just replaced a 3 button 4wd switch in my 95 blazer on 10/28/2012 at 15:30 with a Dorman part 901059. It seems the new switch wants me to hold the button down down for about 3 seconds before it does anything.

I think the old switch I was replacing was a bit of a hair trigger right next to the shift lever so I welcome the new behavior. Its possible the old one was shorting out because of a lack of movement. I am new to this forum, sincere apologies if what I posted sounds like BS, however, I thought it was supposed to be how it was before when I replaced the switch and now I guess I should expect the delay. Perhaps I am curious what the baseline response time is?
