4x4 to 4x2 Hubs 98-05 Blazers
Ok Guys I am sure this has been asked a few times before and im hoping some of the Senior Members with a lot of experience can shed some light on this for me as I have been searching a lot of forums the past few weeks
I have a 2000 LS 4x4 4 door Blazer
The Front Diff/Driveshaft/CV joints are going to be gutted on it after the new Years Holiday as I want it to be a 2wd only Vehicle with the Modifications I have done to it ... Xtreme Clone with Ground effects package, 2wd ZQ8 5 spoke rims, 2-3" drop
I have seen posts from guys who have the 2nd gen body style both blazers/pickups that were 4wd and converted them to 2wd using the 2wd front hub assembly ... now the hubs are identical with the exception of the 4x4 using the half shaft holding it together
Since my vehicle will no longer be a 4x4 model I should be able to run these as they will bolt right up
Feedback is greatly appreciated and no flaming as I wish to lower my truck maybe 2-3 inches and lose the weight where the front diff is on the vehicle
