Default 4x4 front end while turning...

I have a 95 Jimmy 4 door 4x4 and when in 4x4 when the wheel is turned all the way I have to give it gas to make a turn and when I take my foot off the gas stops (instantly but only going slow). Is something wrong with my CV shafts???

Turning on dry pavement with the 4x engaged will do that. Alot of stress on the front end when you do that should be used on wet...icey pavement.
