Default 4x4 posi-lock axle engagement

i have 96 s-seires blazer it have the push button 4x4 drive well i have alot of problem from cables to the vacuum actuator now i see a kit on summit that is a manual lever and cable the kit says you can use 4lo in with out locking the front but what i want to know is if this kit is worth the money and if some one has used it
