A fellow worker has a 2000 blazer with the 3 button system that is stuck in 4Lo. I had him try to disconnect the battery but know he says that the tccm continues to click away until he again disconnects the battery. Can I assume that the encoder is in a position that the tccm cannot determine?
It also seems to me that when these trucks are stuck in 4Hi it's generally a vacuum issue but if it's stuck in 4Lo it's an encoder issue. Is this assumption correct?
