Have a 89 S10 Blazer and it will not engage in to 4 wheel drive any thoughts on this?

Have a look around a bit. This topic has been discussed many times over.

And you might want to consider giving us more information. What exactly is it doing? Do you have the manually engaged transfer case (NP231) or the electronic transfer case (NP233)?
