Default '91 4x4 Tahoe Rear Diff?

I've got a '91 Tahoe 4x4, 4.3 with a blown GovLoc (G80) rear end stranded down in Baja. I know axle widths are an issue, hub concentric (70.3 or 70.6 mm) or lug concentric wheels needs to be know for possibly needed wheel spacers: front and rear gear ratios may be different,...etc. Anything else I need to know? I'll probably just weld up a stock rear end; rather, than "try" to fix the G80 if I can find the right rear end...and, I know there's one some where down there!

Thanks,

Bob

Are you asking if its the axles that cause the different length or if its the offset of the wheels?

The "replacement axle" I have is too short, so... are the needed spacers hub or lug nut concentric and do I need to be concerned with axle ratios, i.ie., my 4x4 vs something else that might be in the replacement. Last solution: trailer it back to the good old US.

Thanks!
