99 Blazer front diff., t-case question

99 Blazer front diff., t-case question
I have a 1999 4dr blazer 4.3l 4x4
I am need of a front diff. and a t-case.
Found one out of a 1999 2dr blazer 4.3l 4x4, does any one know if they are interchangeable?
The person who has it says that the front diff pinion turns 3 1/2 turns to one turn of the front axle. I would assume this is a 3.43 gear ratio in the diff?
As far as the T-case Would this make any difference, 2dr or 4dr.
Thanks

there is no difference regarding the body style.
you'll be wise to check the info on the tag for the t-case, here's what to look for;
as for the ratio in the front diff, i would personally double check that ratio. if your truck has the 3.42 ratio, and you don't install the same ratio in the front, you can bank on costly repairs to your driveline. it'll be easy to tell since the ratio below it will be the 3.08, and the ratio above yours will be 3.73.
good luck with the swap, and have fun on the very top bolt, on the driver's side-it's a tight fit. useyour gear wrench, it'll save you some cramps in your hand.
