Default 99 LS front end problems

I have a 99 LS that is killing me. It all started with the right side, The tire sounded like it was going to come off ,has bad rummble to it at all speeds. But know when i turn to the left i get a real bad clanking noisecould this be the ball joints? or do i look at more. Help

Default RE: 99 LS front end problems

Sounds more like a failing hub/bearing assembly. Turning to the left would shift weight to the right, loading the right side more. So I would jack up the right side and grab the tire to feel for play.
