Default ABS Light

So i have been driving my truck lately and every once and a while when i turn or hit a bump my ABS light will comne on. If i turn the truck off and then back on its gone. Also, some times when i push the brake my ABS kicks in but im on dry pavement and its not slick at all? Whats going on with this. Any info would be appreciated.

I had a van that did the ABS on dry pavement thing and it was a bad wheel sensor.

Brakes - Low Speed (below 5 MPH) ABS Activation
Tech Article (DIY) section FTW!

Other than that, you could have your ABS system scanned for stored codes. This is not the same as the general scan that most autoparts stores do.

You can test out the front WSS without pulling the wheels. Just jack up the front, disconnect the WSS connector and attach your digital multimeter. Set the DMM to mV-AC and give the wheel a spin.
