Default ABS light wont turn off

Had to replace the wheel speed sensors on passenger & driver side due to my stock tires tearing up the wires. Now the light wont turn off. From what I can see, no blown fuses and everything seems to be installed correctly. The ABS scanner is not showing any codes. Tried to disconnect the battery just in case to reset but no changes. When trying to press erase on the ABS scanner the light will turn off for a second but then come right back on. Before I start looking at the ABS module itself has anyone had similar problems?

Make sure your sensors have an air gap. I’ve had the issue of the light staying on.
