Default Axel Swaps or hubs

i was just thinking about how the s10 platform kinda got the shaft when it comes to rims. i mean the luv and the colorado both had/have 6 lug rims. how did we only get 5. anyways... i was wondering if it would be possible to put colorado axel shafts and hubs into a blazer. or is there an easier way to make the blazers 6 lug. i've never done anything to any of my vehicles before and was just wondering if this was possible. thanks in advance

not sure about something else fitting but i know the colorados wont work. They have a very weird setup that i have never seen on any other vehicle.

They make adapters that can convert to a 6 lug wheel pattern. However, with the hubs so far out on our trucks, adding an adapter like that would make it a PITA to find wheels that fit right

if it makes you feal any better, i got a Colorado and a Blazer... sure the Colroado has a more common bolt pattern... BUT backspacing is STUPID, full size rims will NOT fit as the hub bore on a colorado is much bigger then a 1500 and toyota, and it uses a POSITIVE 33mm offset... our Z71 already has the tires at the very edge of the fenders with 31's(stock) with the oem rims.... 32x11.5 they stuck out a hair and rubbed the frame at full lock.. that's with the z71 flairs

Thanks for the info guys. I have some old rims from my dads luv that I would like to put on the blazer but unless I go sfa I guess it's not happening. I'm slowly working on the blazer and thought it would be sweet tothrow those on but I'll probably just go with some soft 8's.
