Axle question...
Morning all,
I was just having a quick question as to some axles. I know that the axles from a Jeep wagoneer are the one of choice or popularity, but I was wondering about a set of full size TJ axles. I had talked to a guy near where I live about purchasing them, but I am unsure if they would even really work out. I can buy the full set front and back since they will be upgrading to a stronger axle. So any answer would be great. And if they wouldnt work then no biggie.

Good call. If you plan on going through all the work of a SAS, there isn't much point, in my opinion, of going with a D30 in the front. Lifting it will be easier, but like was said above, there really isn't much strength improvement. Do it right the first time, with at least a D44.

im running 10bolts front and back, which are basically just dana44s and been beating the crap out of these axles under my s10 with 33 inch boggers going on like 7 years now and no problems with these axles at all
