ok so i have a 99 blazer and i was wondering about doing an axle swap b/c i think its my only option. i want to be able to run 33" or 35" tires and was looking for 6" of lift or more. and cost is an issue. time and tools are something i have but money is short so the cheeper the better. does anyone know where i could get or could give me a list of parts needed to pull off such a feat so i can start looking. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx

Cost me about 850$ to swap my rear to ford 8.8, but I replaced everything and had some welds and drilling done.
rear lift is easily done by flipping axle to underside of spring.
to put leafs in the front you'll just need some steel (if you can weld). try searching the webs for s10 SFA or SAS.
as for the front axle/diff alot of people go for the danas but I suggest looking around as that is probably going to be the most expensive part!
Good Luck!
