The shape of the steering box of my 96 blazer is very similar to my 74 camaros steering box, but the blazers ratio is better (2.5 full turn), now Im thinking about to buy another blazer steering box and swap the camaro box for closer ratio purposes.
What do you think, any idea?

I put a z28 in my blazer cause its ratio was better than mine. I think they are the same as the zq8 box anyways. They bolt right in.

thanks for the reply,
I ll check it this weekend before buying something. I guess previous owner has chanced the box on camaro, it steers like a fullsize.
Its good to learn they bolt right up.
Thanks.
Burak.

Could very well be, Most all GM steering boxes are the same housing. I used to have a list of all the ones with the high ratio gears but can't find it anywhere now.
