Default Brake Booster

I have a Z71 off-road k5 blazer and I’m trying to replace my break booster but wanted to ask if the only way to remove the old one is under the steering wheel

*Moving to Steering, Suspension, & Drivetrain* - There never has been a Z71 S-series truck nor was that RPO used for the K5. As such, you have yourself a K1500 IFS truck which falls into a gray area here.

As far as your question is concerned, yes, the booster is removed from the firewall by removing the clip to the brake pedal and the four nuts; all accessible from inside the truck, under the dash.
