Default Broke diff bolt..

Noticed my rear diff cover was rusted badly and leaking when I bought it
Bought a new cover and 10 new bolts and Lucas 80w90
Had to beat a 12 mm on half of them to get off, not to mention heat with a mini propane torch..
The top one snapped off when I gave it just a bit of pressure... feel like a rookie lol
If I had a welder I would've welder a nut on it, shocked with cold water, and wam bam gotten it out, but no welder right now..
I hate easy outs.. never have luck with them
New cover, fel pro gasket, and gasket maker to cover and other side of gasket. Also, of course I cleaned up the surface on the axle with a grinder nice and clean and brake cleaned it all out.
Hopefully it wont leak! I can takcait to my friends shop and tear it off to extract but will just leave if it doesnt leak
Think I'll have any trouble?
It's the top center bolt, luckily
I will check after filling and driving but just wanted to see your thoughts and ideas
I'm super OCD about my vehicles and just bought this to fix up and drive later so no rush
Gunna do the front diff drain and fill with Lucas as well, and the transfer case with valvoline maxlife atf

I probably would have skipped the gasket and just gone with the RTV silicone, but you'll probably be fine. If it does leak, it's going to be slow. Very little chance of catastrophic failure.

You could try drilling it with a LH drill. Easy and sometimes that works.

With it being on top, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I also used both a gasket and a thing layer of RTV on both sides of said gasket with mine, always have, always will, no issues. ever.
