Bump Stops
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to shortening or removing the front/rear bump stops for more suspension travel for off-roading? I have seen the trick of disconnecting the sway bars and tying them up. I have read a little about too much travel in the front could cause undue strain on the CV joints and axle halves but not a lot of detail. I have also heard mention of "softer" bump stops. Any input would be appreciated. This would be for a 2001 ZR2.
Thanks.
Thanks.
