Default clunk rolling backwards, and sometimes driving through turns

Hello, I've been trying to fix an issue with my 01 zr2 for some time. I get this 'clunk' noise/feeling from what seems like the front area but only in 2 wheel. The easiest way make it happen is to go into reverse and drive backwards about 20 feet. Or simply put it into neutral on an slope and let it roll backwards. In both cases I will feel the clunk even through my foot on the floor.

So far I have replaced all of these:

Front wheel bearings
upper and lower ball joints
pitman arm -hate these
outer tierod and sleeves.
all four shocks
sway bar links

I put in all moog/es/blisten brand stuff.
After that work it still happened so I got desperate and even had the guys check it out while doing the alignment. They said it was a ball joint or wheel bearing but couldn't tell me which one or why... -sigh-

I checked the front and rear driveshaft myself (then let my dad strong arm it) and we agree the ujoints and splines seem ok.

Despite this I still take it through the fields and local trails enough to excuse the sucky mileage of my bfg ATs and it has not broken yet, whatever IT is.

However....

I am going to take my blue tank on some trails up north and am worried even though this has been happening for months it will decide to blow up on the side of a dune where I can't just get it pulled to the barn by one of my brothers' trucks.

my front driveshaft would hit the crossbar when in reverse. I loosened up the 2 bolts to the trans on the crossbar jacked up the TRANS a bit and put some spacers in. all fixed

Default same issue

Mine was fixed by car lot paper work says tightened control arms.
I reread your post no mention of tightening control arms to frame. Mine were loose.
