2WD to 4x4 Conversion?
#2
While it is possible, it wouldn't be cost-effective. You're better off selling that one and buying a 4x4.
If you're bent on converting yours, you'll need a transmission and transfer case from a 4x4, and a solid front axle from a donor vehicle, plus both driveshafts. Unfortunately, the 2WD frame will not allow installation of stock 4x4 components. Also, that doesn't take into account all the small parts, wiring, and possible PCM programming.
Like I said, better to start with a 4WD.
