Default Creaking when turned all the way

I recently lubed my steering components. I used Big Red high-temp grease since that's all I had. Now, when my wheels are cranked all the way to the left, I hear a creaking sound when I'm in motion almost like somethings binding up on a spring. But when I park it like that and look, everything seems clear. Any ideas? I plan on putting some lower-temp grease in it after I get paid to see if that helps any.
