Default Did a lift, need shocks

So I did a 2 inch lift on my Jimmy, I used coils for the rear. Now I need some shocks because it likes to bounce. Not so much for the front but with the back, or some shock extenders. Either one. Any ideas where I can find some???

Autozone. You used to be able to go there and buy shocks for a specific vehicle with x amount of lift. I bought some for my 93 with a 4 inch lift no problem

I work for Jack-It suspension here in Salt Lake City.

What kind of shock are you looking for? Gas Charged, Hydraulic?

Also, do you prefer to have a specific brand of shock?

One more thing, when you say you did a lift, do you mean you leveled it (front lift only), or you installed an actual suspension lift?

Pro comp Gas charged shocks are 924509 for rears and 917500 for front

those run you 35 bucks through me (each)

with hydraulic shocks,
Pro comp 317500 fronts and 324509 rears
33.50 each for hydraulic shocks.

Let me know if you want them, you can order them Via the company website.

Do you ship to Canada? If so how much to A1N 4Y5?

yeah we can ship to Canada. Which ones did you want? gas charge will give you a more comfortable ride, but hydraulic shocks more spring control.

assuming you choose the gas charged shocks, shipping is 74.16 (for all 4 shocks) and duties shows to be 58.60 CAD.

just give me a heads up if you decide to order them

Which do you think would be best? I do some off roading and I just dont want to bounce all over the place, I put in coil springs to add about 2-3 inches to the back and I did a torsion barlift of about the same.

The front are fine its just the rear I need. Check out my profile and my rig and you will see what I have.

No specific brand, just something good that wont break te bank.

OR, since its only 2-3 inches of lift and thats what a Zr2 has, just get some Zr2 shocks???

Thanks again!

Well, if you want comfort over spring control, go with gas-charged.

Gas charged shocks tend to give you better ride quality. Since they are under pressure they tend to want to extend as opposed to having a shock that merely dampens the jounce and rebound action of your springs.

Hydraulic shocks will definitely give you better control of the springs but since there is no "cushion" effect, your ride quality tends to be rougher or stiffer than you would prefer.

Alright, what would be a decent brand and what size would I need? And like I said in my last post, will Zr2 shocks fit on mine?
