thanks for reading this i have just bought a 90 k5 blazer it has 41in swampers on 20in rims i took it for its first road test last night and ended up blowing the carrier through the rear end not sure why . thinking i may need to either change the gear ratio of beef up the carrier unsure what the gear ratio is now belive 323 its a 10 bolt rear end any advice would be cool thanks

get a 14 bolt.... or at minimum a 12 bolt.
turning 41's you need something beefier then a 10.. I'm turning 44" groundhawgz on 15's with a 14 bolt ff and have NEVER had problems with my rear end.... I'm not sure what options you have with 6 bolt though, mine are 8 lug... |
41's are WAY too large for 10-bolt and even 12-bolt axles. You will definitely have to get a Dana-60 front and 14BFF rear if you want to stay with those wheels.
