Don't know better here or DIY
 
I am getting ready to change out upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, and pitman arm. Just wondering how hard this will be or just time consuming also and tips and or tricks will definitly be appreciated.97LS 4x4Thank you

Some members have handled doing the ball joints just fine while others (myself included) have just paid to have them done.

If they are the stockers then you will need a good bit of time to get the rivets out by either using air chisel (easiest) or BFH and chisel along with a drill. Some have drilled the center of the rivets out and hand chiseled the rest of the way.

Here is a thread that has a decent amount of instructions but not too many pictures. Should be helpful nonetheless.

As for the other parts you're replacing, you can also search using the part names as your keywords.
