Default Dorman 600-900 encoder

Is this supposed to come with a gasket does anyone know? According to All Data there's a gasket between the t-case and the encoder, and it also says to replace it if changing the encoder (indirectly anyway). I just got one recently and found there was no gasket on it (not counting the o-ring on there already), is there, in fact, supposed to be one?

Might I also add that I'm planning to do it up this weekend, so I would like to know ASAP if I'm supposed to get a new gasket with this thing like All Data says.
