Drag link and T-bars

I have been slowly re-working / re-building my old 1999 blazer. so far I have replaced 3 ball joints, all four shocks, both front hubs and axles, and the idler arm, and had it aligned, before all this work I have had the T-bars out. ever since all this work was done, now I have a bouncy front end driving down the road, and it bump steers also.
not knowing about trim height measuring I just leveled the truck with a tape measure from the floor to the top of the fender wells on all four fenders. and what should have tighten up the front end did make it better, but not as much as I expected. since then I have replaced all four tires.
yesterday while I had it on the lift I backed off the T-bars about 1 1/2 turns. and leveled the center drag link (it was about 1 3/4" on drivers side and about 2 to 3" on the other side)
on per advise of captain hook of leveling the drag link did get rid of the bump steer problem.
the bounce was reduced by backing off the tension of the bars. the question is should I disconnect the sway bar to see if the tension is equal on both side as did PettyFog did in a earlier post?
