Default #' drop block u-bolts do not fit

Imtrying to install Belltech 3" drop blocks. The u-bolts are for a 3" axle tube. Mine is a 2.5" axle. At first Belltech gave me a part # that I needed to order through Summit. Now they say it's a good #,,,but they cant supply the part. "Just squeeze it together". Ya right. Even if I did get it to go in the lower bracket,,wouldn't there be too much slop at the top. Im affraid it would move. Have any of you guys run into this before. Thanks.[/align]

Yes I actually have while using universal drop blocks from Summit. Ended up going to a local leaf spring shop to have new u-bolts made. I think it was in the $10-20 range for 4.
