Default Electric Shift Transfer Case Won't Engage

Hello, I have a 96 Blazer 4x4 with electric shift transfer case my problem is the tansfer case won't engage. It was working last week but now it won't. I believe it's the T-case motor, is there any way I can make it go in 4HI til I have the time to change the motor.

What diagnosis have you done to determine that the encoder motor is at fault? I am not saying that it is not, however, it is something that you want to be sure of before dropping the $$$ for a new or remanufactured one.
