Default Fiberglass leaf springs from a astrooo!!!!???

So from random researching i discovered the 95+ astro vans have fiberglass leaf springs factory. Im doing some more researching right now and they may fit s10's. Any input on this? Im kinda excited about it since a pull it yard down here sells them for 25.00 each. it'll drop 50 pounds or so 50lb of weight.

I just looked it up about 4000lb.hmm not as heavy as i thought. but still..if it fits, thats some good weight reduction for me since i have removed roughly 500lb off my blaze. You can tell too!

Nice. I dont remember what mine is exactly,il look later but it weighed 3510 with me in it at the scrap yard last week. Im a chubster at 290lb. One i modify the torsion bar member and notch it for a 2wd trans il shave another 100lb off from deleting the transfercase. Maybe even buy some spring shocks for the front and delete the torsion bars all together and shave more weight!
