I recently had my passenger side cv half shaft (joint) and seal replaced in my 97 Blazer. Everything worked well for three week, then I noticed I was leaking gear oil out of the same place... It is basically the same problem i had before I spent $300 on the repair. A mechanic suggested it could have been the bearing in the front axle and there would have been no way to tell it was bad when the repair happend. Anybody have any experience with a similar problem? Luckily the mechanic who did the work will not kill me on a re-repair but it sucks that the problem came back and will still cost a little to fix it again...
