Front axle won't engage
I just bought a 1996 blazer ls. The front axle doesn't engage. I can hear tock tock coming from the transfer case. The sound, sounds normal to me. But the front axle never engages.
I read a couple of thread on this site. Some said to start looking to see if there was a vaccum problem.
I took the battery out and checked. I have NO vaccum to the diaphram.
So I took the diaphram out.
I pulled on the cable that was in the diaphram that goes to the transfer case. Hoping to engage the front axle this way. It didn't work.
While I was pulling on the cable, the restriction on the cable wasn't always the same. Sometimes I can only pull it 1 inch and other times 3 inches.
Is that normal?
Is there a post showing the diagrams of the vaccum lines?
I also tried the 13 pin ground and there's only 1 flash.
