whats the code for our front diffs on a 2000 Blazer ?

i want to find a locker for the front

A locker for the front is a bad idea. Our front diffs. (almost all of them) are made out of aluminum and cannot handle the stress that a locker would put on it.

The design is so poor even the rare cast iron front diffs can't handle a locker.

This is the only locker available that I know of. But like everyone else has already said, it's not a good idea.

how long would the diff last with that locker in there ?

can i get my front diff bulletproofed ?

Sure, rip out the ifs crap and put a dana 60 in the frontend.

Why do you want a front locker? Do you have anything in the back?

keeping the G80, for Winter :P dont wanna put a full time locker in the rear when we get huge snow storms here

wanna keep her straight and not drifting at 100km/h

And that people is one of the first persons you see in a ditch during a snowstorm. They never understand why because they are in a 4x4 and think its 10 foot tall and bullet proof. No reason in the world to be going that fast on any slick surface. Frankly lockers will only help it to swap ends in the snow, ice, or heavy rain.

i want a front locker only for off road, dont need 4x4 in snow... i've never needed it, never will unless i get stuck which i dought

but yeah front locker to help me not get stuck in mud / rocks

how long does the front diff last with a locker?
