Front Differential/Bearing Replacement

Hi, I've checked many threads on here and narrowed it down to front diff bearings, I think. Can someone please help?
The noise sounds like a wheel bearing coming from the right. I had the front right one replaced and the noise is still there.
I noticed that the noise goes away in 4hi and comes back in 2wd.
How much is a new/reman. front diff,or can the bearings be replaced without dropping it.? Is it easy or "do not attempt this at home".
There seems to be a lot of play where the axles meet the diff.
Other issues, steering box play, steering column play, tie rod play, idler replaced twice, lower ball joints replaced.... it just won't stop. Thinking of trading it, 69000 miles.
Can anyone please offer info on the differential or anything else I mentioned, moral support perhaps? Thanks, I appreciate it.

All I can figure out from your post is that you must have some kind of 4WD. Hard to diagnose without some kind of vehicle info.

Yes, I did forget to mention that it is a 2004 Blazer (S-10) 4wd. Not sure how I forgot that.
