Front differential bushings
Front differential bushings on the bottom are loose
Is their a after makket red bushing and how hard are they to replace 99 S10 Blazer 4.3l:icon_playing: not on the A arms these connect the diff. to the frame |

I can't beleave no one has posted anything about the diff bushings
well I have the bushings in the freezer steel contracts when exposed to sub zero have the torch ready to beat the old pressed in bushings :icon_hyper: |
any ideas how hard is the bushings on the front diff. ?

I am just trying to get some advice on my prob. and not getting any replys I am parking my 99 tonight before i blow up the front diff. if anyone can give me any ideas it would be helpfull PLEASE |
The bushing on the driver side of the carrier needs to be pressed out. This is typically done with a ball-joint style press.

i have no prob breakin the ball joint loose and droping the a arm and removin the cv shaft's is their a thread on the removal steps and again sorry for the double post and thanks for your help:icon_playing: |
You probably are not going to get room to pull the bushing without dropping the diff at least a few inches. If you can get the truck up in the air enough, you might not have to pull the driveshaft or the CV shafts. Just safely support the truck and then drop the diff down onto some smaller jack stands. All you need is enough to use a good ball joint press.

I need to swap my front diff with a replacement one. Looks like both lower ball joints need to be broke and both CV's pulled, right? That's what I think so I'll do it. If someone posts here there is a trick and I only needed to break one, then I'll chalk it up to experience.
