front driveshaft won't disengage

front driveshaft won't disengage
I had a vibration,upon inspection of drivetrain I noticed front driveshaft engaged.I disconnected the vacuum to 4x4 actuator under battery,shaft is free moving now.Hook the vacuum back up it engages.Light is in 2wd.Press all 3 buttons you can here it activating through all buttons.Why would the front shaft free up after disconnecting vacuum
