This was posted in the area to introduce yourself, but since I am unable to move it since this is not my section.

Being your truck is 2wd, The ball joints will need to be pressed in with a shop press if I am not mistaken. They will not just pop in.

Ive seen that some auto part stores, loan the tools i need the "balljoint presser". If i get them loaned, i want to know if The job itself is hard to tackle? Do i need to remove all the wheel parts just to get to the balljoints?

yeah you have to take off your tire, brakes and rotor and take the kunckle out of the way. you maybe able to get lucky and just leave it attached to the upper ball joint and tie rod and just swing it out of the way but no promises. one tip is if you have to take the knuckle completely out of the way, take a wire wheel or brush and clean up the threads on the upper ball joint and tie rod you plan on taking off then spray some lube on it, sucks when you get the nut half way off then it locks on the rust and just spins the ball.

but you will need the press. i used to rent one from autozone years ago before i finally bought my own. sometimes there is a big snap ring on the old ball joint and you will need snap ring pliers to get it off. ifyou dont have those you can usually get them off with screw drivers and needle nose plier just watch cause they like to go flying

im sure if you search youtube you will find videos of people doing ball joints
