Default front wheels not spinning

Hey guys just bougt a 2000 blazer &found out I have low compression on #4 then to add insult to injury I got stuck in the mud&when I put it in n&put it in either 4 hi or 4 lo it will click &feal like it goes in gear but while my back tires spun the front didn't move.Also the abs light is on any ideas?

Low compression could be due to a head gasket, valve, or ring problem.

Your front axle engagement issues are well documented on the forum --> Common 4x4 Problems.

If the abs light is on, that means there is a problem and the EBCM has stored codes present and waiting to tell you what it thinks is the problem. Getting those codes read by a compatible scan tool would be the first order of business.
