grinding noise
 
Grinding noise on the front left of my 96 blazer 4x4 beleive its a wheel bearing because when I turn left and take the weight off of it it stops but also ubder heavy braking its stops just wondering if I should check anything else before ording my hubs thanks guys

Try jacking up that wheel and spinning the tire. See if it makes that same grinding noise, if it does I'd say your right about the barring. If not saves from buying extra parts.

If it ends up needing a bearing, don't get cheapos. Timken is first choice, (good stuff). Might want to check the wheel alignment too, incorrect camber will wear out the bearings prematurely. Should be zero degrees for best bearing life.
