grinding/scraping noise and violent shaking straight and worse turning
In my 2001 blazer lt, i noticed a used tire dealer put on a 235/70/15 instead of the 235/75/15 on my front passenger side and after changing the tire after a week, there was a scraping/grinding noise and shaking which became inoperable after driving to and from work twice. I recently changed the upper ball joint with a mechanic friend, and he forgot to put in the cotter pin, and also left a cable exposed (which may be getting caught in tire), i took care of these issues but its still got the scraping/grinding noise and violent shakes. Anybody have similar issues or an answer would help since the truck has been at my job for 4 days?

Also with the truck lifted on that side. Tire off ground turn wheel and check for the grinding noise. Grab the tire at 12 and 6 oclock and see if you can wiggle it and if there is any play. Also do this at 9 and 3 oclock. Could be a bad wheel hub

I put in in the air on my break, and shook the wheel @ 9 & 3 and 6 & 12, no resistance. it shook a lot both ways. as for the grinding noise I heard it but it was low because I couldn't spin the wheel fast because there was grinding. I just changed a broken upper ball joint and I'm guessing it took another part down with it.

I think that's just the shadow from the steering stop.
Sounds like you should be replacing lower ball joints and unit bearings as well. It'd be a good idea to look at the rest of the suspension and steering as well.
