Default In a high speed right turn, steering wanders in..out..in..out

2002 S10 Blazer, 4dr, 4WD, 236,000mi.

Driving highway speeds..50-70 mph in a RIGHT hand turn ONLY..the steering wanders in..and out..in..and out.. over a second for each (what I'm calling) oscillation.

Ball joints good. zero movement at 12 and 6 o'clock with suspension unloaded

Some movement in the 3 and 9 o'clock positions (an inch?) but no relative movement in tie rod ends. Same goes for idler and pitman.

Has a relatively new quick ratio steering gear. Never adjusted the tie rods after install so the steering wheel is off center but the toe should be good. was just aligned shortly before gear install.

Upper control arms relatively new..bushings look good.
Lower control arms original..bushings cracked but intact.

Did notice the inboard boot of the CV shaft on the passenger side has come off. The larger diameter side. I vaguely remember putting a hose clamp on it. It's still on the shaft..just off the boot.

Any ideas?

CV boot won't effect it at all, but it will obviously kill your CV joint eventually...

*How are the wheel bearings? Any noise or grown from them?
*Tire pressure is even from left to right, and tires are both good and not oddly worn?
