Default homemade steering stabilizer

Well I saw this thread and figured that one of theise weekends I would make one up. Since I have the bracket on the frame, all I will have to do is make a bracket to clamp on the steering. What do you guys think?

I agree. If those bolts vibrate loose and allow the bracket to move on the centerlink it may hinder your ability to steer. If I wanted to add a steering stablizer I would replace the centerlink with one that has the hole in it for the stabalizer...but that's just me...

That was my first thought but this sutup is no diffrent than the kits you can buy, so I would think that its pretty stable.

LMC only had it for 82-93 and NAPA didn't have them online for 4x4

You do realize that stabilzer is sold as a replacement for an O.E. unit and not an add-on...right?

Look at the bottom left of the features list...

The link you posted is just the stabilizer the link I poseted on Summit is the whole kit. Look at the part numbers they are diffrent, and on the summit page it clearly says that it comes as a kit.
