Default hub assembly

i have a 2003 blazer xtreme, 2wd with the 4.3. i was wondering are the front wheel hub assemblies the same as the rear? ive searched everywhere for rears and all that comes up is hubs for the front.

You don't have hubs on the front. You have spindles and the bearings are built into the rotor. What makes you think of hubs anyways?

Maybe I'm just and idiot, but I was replacing the rotors and pads on rear, and this is just a rust bucket of a mess.

Not an idiot, just don't know...

The end where the wheel bolts to, is on an axle shaft that got into the rear axle housing. There is a bearing there, but not a "hub". If you search up the axle housing on gm parts direct on Google, it'll show you a blueprint of the parts and names...

Im a driveway mechanic so I could br wrong on the names lol, but I want to say that it's not a hub lol...

If thats the case, look into a rebuild kit. I just got one for around 100 cdn. Mechanic is getting them done over time.

Rockauto.com will also give a list of stuff you need. That's where I got my reference numbers for parts.
