Default Humming when in 4 x 4 Ok in 2WD

Hello all,
I have a 2000 Blazer 4DR. When I put it in either 4 x 4 Auto or 4 x 4 I get a humming noise on deceleration. Sounds like it's coming from the front. If I switch back into 2WD it's quiet. Any advice would be great.
Thanks,
DBC

Hi again,
I've had a few Blazers/Jimmys as I am a Auto Broker here in Canada however none of them have made this much noise when engaged in 4x4 so this is not normal. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
DBC
