Default I want to hear from anyone who's extended their drive shaft-K5

I've been told I need a double U joint on the rear. Help - is it need or not? any feed back would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Considering that you are probably the only one here that has or will be doing this mod on a fullsize, I doubt you'll get much feedback... Sorry...

As I stated in your other thread (please do try to keep things together), find a driveline shop in your area that re-tubes driveshafts and ask them.

Mostlikely, you will need the double U joint at the back of the rear driveshaft, but you'll also need to make sure that the lift kit modifies the pinion angle to the appropriate alignment with the driveshaft.

Thanks, I'll keep you up on how it's going. Right now we've got 8" in the back & stock on the front - once we get the drive shaft issue fixed, we'll have completed one of many tasks!
