put a stabilizer in today, took it for a short drive. Seems to have stopped the wandering ,but still some play in the steering wheel

Yeah, about that... I decided that the Blazer and I didn't see eye-to-eye as far as hauling capabilities. I opted for a 1990 3/4 ton pickup instead. I was spending more time under the hood trying to get the 1995 CPI to stay running as I was driving the thing.

Unfortunately the bracket just sits unfinished since I don't have any way to take measurements anymore. If someone has fabrication skills they can take it over if they want. I would just like to get close to covering the cost of the arm and mount.

they do sell a heavy duty idler arm for the fullsize trucks, dont know if they do the same for the s10s. my 1990 fullsize was doing the same thing, chewing up idlers every 3 months. bought this big moog idler for over a hundred bucks a few years ago and its fine, just checked it last week, though the pitman arm is going out again after about a year. need to see fi they make a heavy version of that too
