91 S10 Jimmy or 91 full size Jimmy? I am assuming 4wd...

A 91 S10 Jimmy should already be IFS in the front. A 91 full size Jimmy would be straight axle. I do not see why you would want to change this as MANY people want to get rid of the restrictive IFS setup that the newer full size trucks use...

If you have a 91 S10 Jimmy (you really should specify), then you already have independent front suspension. Not really a multi-link, but IFS none-the-less. If you are looking for something else, it will have to be entirely custom made.

Im just trying to update the suspension and looking for options. I understand the independent setup is better for ride, handling, and track use... im planning to run it at the track that they are building around here (as well as a strip.) its getting a LS3 with Sportshift transmission. So... idk... my plans are all mixed up and verrrry unclear XD

btw its a S10/15 model and 2wd 2 door if it makes a difference

and im talking some new independent setups like on the zeta platforms as well if it changes anything. i know it would cost money put this is my project and im willing to put money into it

What you are saying does not make sense... are you building a 2wd mud racer? or some kind of street vehicle? What advantage would there be to a multilink independant front or rear suspension as far as a Blazer is involved? What are you trying to accomplish with the suspension that you are interested in? Sounds like maybe you need to invest in a Camaro or a Corvette.

I would just lower it down and run some low profile performance tires. Make it stiff so as not to have body roll. Put on a set of decent shocks, throw a posi unit in the rear and dont forget the brakes. I would not waste my money on outlandish suspension modifications.

Once again... Go drive a Camaro or Vette or Mustang or any other type of rear wheel drive performance car. If you are of that frame of mind then you will be much happier with one of those platforms. I have owned many Camaros, a Vette and a few others and I have had plenty of fun with them. Keep your mind open...

well i drive a mustang HAHAHA lol its my daily and i bought the blazer for 100 off of my cousin. It needs a full interior and a engine rebuild. but im going to turn it into something unique at the end of it all :/ i was looking at a colorado conversion but ive switched my mind and came up with some renderings of a 2008 Tahoe/Sub/Avalanche front end conversion(lots of custom fab) or a austrailian colorado front end. So its kind of a dream project to begin with
