Default KYB GR-2 or MonoMax Heavy Duty

New member, 86 S-10 2.8, looking to replace shocks. Looked through 40-50 threads. Mostly saw reference to Monroe or Rancho or Bilstein shocks.
Who here has used KYB shocks? Is the MonoMax going to be much stiffer than the GR-2? Apologies if this has been covered. I did look. Maybe not in the right place.

I have GR-2's on my wife's car and they are great. I personally would stick with Bilsteins, since they came factory on some of the blazers.
