When I set the left turn signal and make left turn, it does not reset to neutral; but still works correctly when set for right turn... it resets to center again. So my question is... Do I need to replace the turn signal lever assembly (found for $65 at Parts Geek), or is there another part that controls the return feature of the turn signal lever. Years ago (1968), I repaired similar problem in a crysler vehicle which had a seperate plastic piece that sat in the center of the sterring column and contacted the turn lever when wheel was rotated, resettingthe lever after straigning wheel. Any help of P/N information would be appreciated.

Not sure how to close this, but found Cancelling Cam is needed.

More information about your vehicle would be useful.
