hello everybody fish here again merry christmas and happy new year ok so rough country came out with a new lift kit for the 1998 blazer only new part is a diff drop bracket but the cheap bastards will not sell my just the bracket even though i bought the other kit now they want me to buy the whole thing over just for the bracket can somebody tell me if they know a way i can make a bracket or drop my diff the 2.5 inches or w/e so my cv axles will finally sit straight.

if ur capable of working with metal, just figure it out and make a bracket. someone else makes it to sell to u so y cant u make it? food for thought.

the answer i was more looking for is if i have a 2.5 inch lift does my diff have to drop 2.5 inches as well too keep my cv axles straight i know what the bracket i need to make is for now i need more specific details

Even with the drop bracket I've seen too many problems with it cranked to 2.5. I'd leave it as is, crank it to 2 inches, and call it good. One of the main reasons why I don't see how that kit is worth $400 for a 1/2 inch over cranking the factory stuff. The a arms are the only good part in the kit, the drop bracket and keys aren't. Hell you don't even need the keys anyways. They take those worthless keys out, drop the price to $150, and label it for the more real 2 inches it might be a good kit.
